We are entering three of my favorite seasons - college football, Fall(ish) weather, and Field's Fun Run fundraising season! Last year, Field Lions fundraised their hearts out and we raised over $37,000 from family and friends' online donations for our brand new playground. This year, our fundraising goal is $40,000 to fund classroom technology and an automatic, secure parking lot gate. If we meet our stretch goal $45,000 PTO will be installing a gaga ball pit in the playground, too!
You will be astonished how quickly your high school friend, coworker, or cousin will donate $10 to your student's profile. This year we have gone BIGGER than ever with classroom parties/experiences funded by PTO to celebrate when fundraising benchmarks are met in a class. Students will be having epic water balloon battles, playing with bubbles of all shapes and sizes, digging into ice cream sundaes, dancing and chasing their friends at a Glow Party, and MORE. We will close out the fundraiser with Fun Run day Oct 27 and here's a video from last year!
How can you help? Register TODAY, create your student's profile, and then share via text, email, or social media. It will take 2 minutes max! Truly, we are so grateful for your support.

The PTO could not do all of the amazing things it does without the dedicated group of volunteers who are so generous with their time and efforts. Involvement with the PTO is a wonderful way to get to know the school, staff, students, and other parents. There are many different ways to get involved. We encourage you to learn more about the events and activities that the PTO sponsors and volunteer where you can. Please note that all volunteers who will be working with students on campus or on field trips need to be registered through the school district’s Volunteers in Public Schools program, or VIPS. VIPS requires all volunteers to register annually. For more information, click here. |
| Field of Dreamers Garden Club We are excited to announce we are kicking off our Field of Dreamers Garden Club for our third season! This amazing program, is run by parent volunteers who donate 25 minutes of their time every Thursday. In this small amount of time students connect with the Earth, plant a thing or two, learn where their food comes from, sample fresh herbs or lettuce depending on what's growing, get a little dirty and explore the wonders of nature. So much goes on in those 7 beds at the front - you would be amazed! We also want to bring the students to the Butterfly Garden that was built and funded by grants and parent volunteers last year. The Butterfly Garden is located outside the PE room. If you have 25 minutes to spare, please let us know. You may reach Ebony Porter at campfirequilts@gmail.com . More information can be found here.
