With the holiday season upon us, we would like to thank each of you for helping us celebrate another successful year. It’s customary in this season to take a moment and reflect on all the blessings we have that make our lives as good as they are. The holidays are more than the festivities, it gives us time to ponder what lessons we learned and how we can spread happiness, to look back at all the great memories and good people who came into our lives. We appreciate each of you, our Field families! We hope you enjoy your time over the holiday season, and that you come back with stories to share about the great time you had with the people closest to you. | Hi! My name is Jen Perry and I am your new PTO President! I have 3 daughters: Rosie - our 3yr old, Alexandra - a kindergartner in Ms Thomas' class and Juliette - a first grader in Ms Vasquez's class. My husband, Alan, works in oil & gas and travels to Kazakhstan every 4 weeks, away half the year. We walk to school with our first baby- Porter, our Puggle we rescued in 2011.
I joined the PTO in 2022, as VP of Programs. I have a background in Human Resources and work for a small business - Bliss on 19th (part time here in the Heights).
I am very dedicated and committed to Field Elementary. I joined this PTO to make a positive difference and I am very proud of what we have all accomplished over these past few months! We have a very motivated, energetic and committed group of parents who collaborate, support and work well together to make things happen! We would love for you to join us!!

Our first Auction and Fundraiser was an amazing success. We raised $55,000 and couldn’t have done this without our amazing volunteers, donors and sponsors! We had an incredible auction committee who worked so well together! The event was held at the SPJST Lodge with a DJ, Photo Booth, auction items displayed, a wine pull, 50/50 game, Astros watch party and raffle! We had so much fun while raising funds for Field! We thank all parents, teachers, staff and friends who joined us for our first auction.
We thank each and every one who sponsored, donated, attended, created sign up parties to build our community while raising funds, and all the volunteers who made this happen! If you attended, please take time to fill out the survey as it will help us as we plan the next one (survey links were sent to the email address of the ticket purchaser)! We will spend time over the coming months getting feedback from parents, teachers and staff, to determine how these funds help Field best.

Thank you to everyone who supported and volunteered, prior to and during the week, in preparation for this event. The student volunteers of Hamilton Middle School were magnificent and thank you so much for your support. As always, we thank all our families for always being present and supporting our children.

Parent's Lunch Week Mark your calendars -- Parents/guardians who have been approved via the HISD VIPS program can now come to lunch with students! One week each month, parents will be afforded quality time at lunch. External food is allowed! Please plan to arrive 5-10 minutes before the student's lunchtime for check-in with Ms. Q. Update - some lunch times have changed. Please look out for more information from Field administration.

| Marquee Birthday Message Adding your child's name to our school marquee is a great way to celebrate their birthday! Purchase is available through the PTO online spirit shop. Please purchase at least a week in advance of the needed date so we have time to process the order. Be sure to include your child’s name and birthdate at checkout. The message will be published for the full day and will show as: "Happy Birthday (child's name)!" Feel free to share your photos with us!

The PTO could not do all of the amazing things it does without the dedicated group of volunteers who are so generous with their time and efforts. Involvement with the PTO is a wonderful way to get to know the school, staff, students, and other parents. There are many different ways to get involved. We encourage you to learn more about the events and activities that the PTO sponsors and volunteer where you can. Please note that all volunteers who will be working with students on campus or on field trips need to be registered through the school district’s Volunteers in Public Schools program, or VIPS. VIPS requires all volunteers to register annually. For more information, click here. |

| Field of Dreamers Garden Club Just in time for cooler weather, we are kicking off our Field of Dreamers Garden Club for our second season!
This amazing program, is run by parent volunteers who donate 20 minutes of their time every Thursday.
In this small amount of time students connect with the Earth, plant a thing or two, learn where their food comes from, sample fresh herbs or lettuce depending on what's growing, get a little dirty and explore the wonders of nature. So much goes on in those 7 beds at the front - you would be amazed!🛠We also want to bring the students to the Butterfly Garden that was built and funded by grants and parent volunteers last year. The Butterfly Garden is located outside the PE room.
