Welcome to the Field of Dreamers Garden Club!
We are a parent-led program leading the initiative to build more gardens at Field Elementary & implement an educational gardening program for the students.
The children learn how to maintain a garden bed, grow food & flowers, tend the Earth, attract pollinators and - most importantly - have fun connecting with Nature during the school day.
☀️Field of Dreamers Garden Club☀️
Leads our vision to beautify the grounds of 🌻 Field Elementary through the design and planting of native butterfly 🦋 and pollinator gardens. 🐝 Pollinators are vital to creating and maintaining the habitats and ecosystems that many animals rely on for food and shelter. Our focus is on planting natives 🌱, as they better withstand drought and are more insect and disease resistant. Plus, they’re beautiful!
🌻Exciting news!!
🗞️This year Gardening is on Wednesdays, and whole class will come out at a time.
🗞️Ancillary Teachers will escort the whole class to and from the garden.
🗞️Teachers will assist us with our daily lesson (25min).
🗞️Students will return with teacher to finish their ancillary for that day!
🧑🌾This is great because it frees up so much of our time going in and out to get the kiddos from class.
🧑🌾Now we can just focus on gardening!!!
🌱Sign up genius coming soon, and asking volunteers to cover two (2) weeks, if they can.
🌱 This can be any grade or time you want. Can’t wait!!

Get Involved!!
Volunteer: Beginner gardeners are welcomed! We have a lot of parents learning as we go. Any time you give on Wednesdays between 8am - 1pm would be greatly appreciated!🌱

Skills: Do you build or propagate plants? We would love to utilize your expertise… and your plants! With a small budget, every little bit – and each seedling – helps us grow this program for our kids.🌱
Donate: Funds specifically donated to Garden Club ensures we have supplies for planting, garden maintenance, take home projects, seasonal garden additions and more. Please send donations by Zelle fieldespto.treasurer@gmail.com
