The Field Elementary Parent/Teacher Organization (Field PTO) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that supports the education of children at Field Elementary by fostering relationships among the school, parents and teachers, and raises funds to support enrichment programs and campus upgrades.

Through fundraising efforts, we help fund teacher requests and appreciation, awards for student accomplishments, school celebrations, arts programs, and enhancments of outdoor structures and equipment. We also provide valuable volunteers to support educational programs, field trips, library initiatives, and school and community events.

Priority Fundraising Initiative

Air Purifiers

Our most immediate need is to supply every classroom and common area at Field with a HEPA air purifier. A HEPA filter is designed to remove 99.9% of airborne particles. These filters will clean the air in the classroom every 15-30 minutes. By itself, air cleaning or filtration is not enough to protect people from exposure to COVID-19. When used along with other best practices recommended by the CDC, filtration can be a part of a plan to protect people indoors. These air purifiers will provide safer classrooms and lower stress levels, so that teachers can teach and kids can learn.

Our goal is to buy 21 classroom air purifiers and 6 large air purifiers for the common areas – PE room, cafeteria (2), music room, computer room, and library.
